Otunba Oladipupo Oluwaloni, Chairman of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), has expressed heartfelt appreciation to his team for their unwavering dedication and collective efforts, which he credited for the rapid and tangible progress achieved within just 47 days of assuming office.
Speaking during the 16th Lagos Ikeja City Awards ceremony, held at the Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Hon. Oluwaloni acknowledged the strong synergy between the executive and legislative arms of the LCDA as the cornerstone of their early successes. He attributed the delivery of democratic dividends to the spirit of unity, cooperation, and purposeful leadership that guides their operations.
“In less than two months, we have recorded significant milestones that are directly impacting the lives of our constituents,” Oluwaloni stated during a media interaction. “These accomplishments would not have been possible without the commitment and hard work of every member of our team.”
The Chairman also took the opportunity to commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, highlighting the positive influence of the President’s governance strategies on local administration. According to Oluwaloni, the increased funding for local governments under President Tinubu’s leadership has empowered council chairmen across Lagos and beyond to implement developmental projects effectively.
“Our LCDA is a testament to the impact of President Tinubu’s vision. We are experiencing a new wave of infrastructural development, thanks to the improved financial allocation. This transformation is not limited to Ayobo-Ipaja—it’s evident across Lagos and the nation,” he noted.
Calling on Nigerians to show gratitude and offer prayers for the President, Oluwaloni emphasized the broader benefits of Tinubu’s initiatives, which he said are fostering growth in both the public and private sectors. “We must appreciate and support the President. His policies are laying the foundation for long-term prosperity, and I believe that with sustained backing, the dividends of good governance will reach even more Nigerians.”
Oluwaloni’s remarks reflect a deep sense of optimism and commitment to grassroots development, underscoring the importance of unity in governance and the critical role of national leadership in empowering local administrations.
