Alpha Morgan Bank Limited has moved its head office from Abuja to Victoria Island, Lagos, following reported early financial gains and expansion across several Nigerian cities.
The bank moves from Abuja to Victoria Island following reported early financial gains, branch network expansion and plans to deepen its nationwide presence.
Alpha Morgan Bank Limited has relocated its head office from Abuja to Lagos, marking a new phase in the financial institution’s growth strategy as it seeks to strengthen its nationwide presence and customer relationships.
The bank announced that its new head office is located at 52 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Victoria Island, Lagos, following its relocation from 44 Adetokunbo Ademola Crescent, Wuse II, Abuja.
The development comes amid the bank’s reported expansion across several Nigerian cities and early financial milestones recorded within its first 10 months of operations.
According to reports published by The Guardian and Punch, Alpha Morgan Bank recorded a profit before tax (PBT) of ₦1.9 billion during the period and exceeded its capitalisation threshold. These developments were cited alongside the relocation as indicators of the bank’s early progress.
Ade Buraimo Describes Relocation as Growth MilestoneCommenting on the relocation, the bank’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ade Buraimo, described the move as an important milestone in the institution’s development.
He said the relocation from Abuja to Lagos represented a significant and exciting step in the bank’s growth journey, attributing its progress to the dedication of its workforce, customer confidence and its commitment to building an accessible and sustainable financial institution.
Buraimo also expressed appreciation to the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) for its continued support, while acknowledging the contributions of the bank’s board, management and staff.
The bank said it remained committed to expanding its nationwide presence, strengthening relationships with customers and creating lasting value for the communities it serves.
Lagos Move Positions Bank in Nigeria’s Commercial Centre
Lagos is a major centre for Nigeria’s commercial and financial activities, making the relocation a significant development in Alpha Morgan Bank’s operational presence.
The move to Victoria Island places the bank’s head office within a prominent business district and provides a new base for its corporate engagement and customer-facing activities.
However, the relocation alone does not establish the extent of any future business expansion. The bank’s ability to translate the move into stronger customer relationships and sustainable growth will depend on its execution of its business strategy, service delivery and continued financial performance.
Bank Highlights Financial Performance and Nationwide Expansion
Beyond the head office relocation, Alpha Morgan Bank has highlighted the expansion of its branch network across several cities as part of its development.
The bank has also pointed to investments in its workforce, community-focused corporate social responsibility initiatives and economic knowledge-sharing activities.
One of these initiatives is the quarterly Alpha Morgan Economic Review webinar featuring economist Bismarck Rewane, which provides a platform for discussions on economic developments and related issues.
These activities form part of the bank’s stated approach to financial services, community engagement and economic awareness.
The reported ₦1.9 billion profit before tax during the first 10 months of operations is another milestone highlighted in connection with the relocation. A fuller assessment of the bank’s financial position, however, would require examination of its published financial statements and other relevant performance indicators.
Alpha Morgan Bank Reaffirms Commitment to Customers
As it establishes its head office in Lagos, Alpha Morgan Bank says it intends to continue building its nationwide presence, deepening customer relationships and creating value for the communities it serves.
The relocation represents an organisational milestone for the institution, while its longer-term impact will be measured by the bank’s financial sustainability, service quality, customer confidence and ability to meet the needs of individuals and businesses.
For the Nigerian banking sector, the development adds to the continuing evolution of financial institutions seeking to expand their reach and strengthen their position in a competitive market.
DASCENARIO will continue to monitor Alpha Morgan Bank’s expansion, financial performance and other developments within Nigeria’s financial services industry.
