Zazu crooner and street icon, Habeeb Badmus, aka Portable, has defeated Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, in the much publicised celebrity boxing bout held on Wednesday.
The fight, which was organized by Heritage Boxing Entertainment to physically settle the rift between the two aggressive celebs, held at Landmark Beach in Victoria Island, Lagos, and lasted for about 40 minutes, with the pair both totally exhausted after the rigorous go at each other.
The pair had finally settled their scores with their fists after Portable’s alleged contractual issues, which led them to engage in an online feud over an alleged N40m rip-off claim and counter-claim.
Portable claimed Okocha cheated him out of the money, only sending him a small amount, contrary to their agreement.
The thrilling bout which had a jam-packed arena of spectators had portable gaining the upper hand when he knocked down the bulkier Okocha with a suckered punch he never saw coming, and yet, managed to rally back and put up a great fight.
Portable in his characteristic manner was all boastful, and even wanted to indulge in fisticuffs with the Nollywood celeb during their media session with journalists to officially announce their upcoming fight.
In the end, Portable came out victorious and went home with the celebrity bout belt, and thus, setting a trend which may be sooner adopted by other warring celeb parties in the future.
