A 17 year-old boy, Emeka Odogwu,was tragically shot dead by a policeman in Ozoro community , Isoko North LGA, Delta State, on the Night of December 8.
The incident reportedly stemmed from an argument over the use of fireworks. According to witnesses, Emeka attempted to flee the scene when one of the officers allegedly opened fire, fatally wounding him.
Confirming the incident, SP Bright Edafe. The spokesperson for the Delta State Police Command, stated that the officer responsible has been arrested and placed in detention.
Investigation into the case is still Ongoing.
