Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, the Chairman and CEO of Adron Group, has been honored with the 2024 Osun State College of Technology (OSCOTECH) Fellowship Award (FOSCOT). The prestigious award was presented during the institution’s 8th Combined Convocation Ceremony, held at the OSCOTECH campus in Esa-Oke, Osun State, in recognition of his remarkable achievements and contributions to societal development.
The ceremony, which brought together an array of dignitaries, was graced by the Executive Governor of Osun State, Senator (Dr.) Ademola Adeleke; members of the Osun State House of Assembly; Permanent Secretaries; and revered royal figures, including Oba Adeyemi Akanbi and Oba Festus Kayode Awogboro. Other notable recipients of the fellowship award included the Owaniran of Esa-Oke, Oba Adeyemi Adediran, and Yeyeluwa Modupeola Adeleke Sanni, the sister of Governor Adeleke.
During his acceptance speech, Aare Emmanuelking reflected on his transformative journey and expressed gratitude for the recognition.
He stated:
“Twenty-seven years ago, I walked these very grounds as a student, full of dreams and aspirations, like many of you here today. My time at OSCOTECH shaped the foundation of who I am today, instilling in me not just technical skills but the values needed to unleash my boundless potential.”
He further acknowledged the efforts of Governor Adeleke, the Rector of OSCOTECH, Dr. S.A.O. Adegoke, and the entire OSCOTECH community for bestowing the esteemed honor. He also commended the institution’s staff for their dedication to academic excellence and called on alumni to actively contribute to OSCOTECH’s growth.
“I am deeply grateful to Governor Ademola Adeleke, the Rector, and the staff of OSCOTECH for this recognition. To my fellow alumni, I encourage you to join hands in fostering the legacy of this great institution by supporting its development,” he added.
