IKEJA, LAGOS – [18.10.25] – In a powerful address delivered from the symbolic heart of Nigerian democracy, the palatial compound of the late Chief M.K.O Abiola, a prominent voice within the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled significant social intervention plans by the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT) administration.

Alhaja Comrade Amina Irawo, widely known as “Mama June 12” Nationwide and Diaspora and serving as the APC Woman Leader in Abuja, spoke to members of the press at the 1st Nigerian Poverty Eradication Summit (NIPES 2025), resonating a message of hope and tangible support for the masses.

Addressing the summit’s theme, “Renewed Hope Agenda and Poverty Eradication,” Alhaja Irawo made a landmark announcement, declaring that President Tinubu is currently spearheading the construction of 3,000 “Renewed Hope” houses for the citizenry.

She emphatically stated that upon completion, these housing units **“shall be exceedingly given out to the masses Pro Bono,”** positioning the initiative as a direct mechanism to alleviate the housing burden for thousands of Nigerians.

Reflecting on the nation’s recent past, the woman leader offered a stark diagnosis of the pre-Tinubu era, asserting that the Republic “has been on a sick bed because of the selfish Leaders who held sway in the past bastardized the economy.”

She defended the current administration’s tough reforms, stating that upon assuming office, President Tinubu was fully aware of the arduous tasks ahead and made the courageous decision to “block all the pipes with which were formerly encouraged wastages of public resources.”

Looking forward with unwavering optimism, Alhaja Comrade Irawo assured Nigerians that relief is on the horizon for market prices.
“In no distant future,” she proclaimed, “the prices of everyday items in the open markets shall be drastically reduced to the barest minimum levels for the public good of all and sundry.”

Concluding her address, she directly countered prevailing narratives on the nation’s debt profile, vehemently stating that President Tinubu has “saved an uncommon chunk of monies for the Republic.”
