Ekiti APC Chairman Passes On

Paul Omotosho, chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti state has recently passed on in the early hours of Wednesday after a brief illness.

According to accounts given by his close allies, the Imesi-Ekiti-born politician actively participated in a series of political meetings on Monday.

He was said to have complained of feeling unwell on Tuesday, which caused him to be rushed to a government hospital in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital, where he later died.

Recall that the late Omotosho was kidnapped in July 2023 and was released after five days.

Late Paul Omotosho was a Special Adviser and commissioner for local government and chieftaincy affairs under Fayemi’s administration. He has also served as the Secretary to his party and he is a two-term party Chairman
