[LAGOS, NIGERIA. 10.01.24] – In a bid to enhance preparedness and promote safety measures within private and non-governmental organizations, a pioneering initiative is underway to provide comprehensive Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training programs.
CPR, a life-saving technique during cardiac emergencies, holds critical importance in mitigating unforeseen health crises. Understanding the significance of swift action in such situations, this initiative aims to equip personnel within private and non-governmental organizations with the necessary skills to administer immediate
assistance.
The CPR training program; a joint initiative of Fran Amolo Global Concepts and Subtle Salt Foundation, USA, is designed and facilitated by a team of American Health Association (AHA)-certified instructors, and it will cover fundamental techniques, including chest compressions and rescue breaths, tailored to address various emergency scenarios. These sessions will also impart crucial knowledge about the operation of Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and steps to ensure a safe and efficient response in cardiac emergencies. While Fran-Amolo Global Concepts is in the fore-front of the cause, Subtle Salt Foundation USA; led by its International Projects Co-ordinator; Ms. R. Knox, will be leading the Training Team from the US down to Nigeria.
“We recognize the pivotal role played by private and non-governmental organizations in the community. By offering CPR training, we aim to empower these organizations to be better prepared and capable of responding effectively during emergencies,” stated Ms. Knox.
The benefits of CPR training extend far beyond the workplace, with trained individuals contributing to a safer and more responsive community.
Empowering Corporate Organizations, Government Parastatals, Schools, Religious Establishments and even Private Individuals with these life-saving skills not only enhances workplace/Community safety protocols but also fosters a culture of preparedness and proactive response to emergencies.
According to Mr. Alfred Abiodun, the Media and PR coordinator of the project, the CPR Training programme will be commencing in July, but registration will begin in March. In addition, he revealed that the Training Programme can also be customised to suit every interested party’s agenda. All participants will be issued an American Health Association Certificate at the end of the Training Programme.
The CPR training initiative welcomes the participation of private enterprises and non-governmental organizations seeking to prioritize the safety and well-being of their teams as well the opportunity to acquire the American Health Asscociation (AHA) Certification at the end of the Training Exercise.
