Globacom has hosted another draw in Abuja as part of its ongoing Glo Festival of Joy promo, continuing its annual tradition of rewarding loyal subscribers nationwide. This event marks the latest in a series of draws aimed at spreading joy and excitement among Glo customers across the country.
The Glo Festival of Joy promo draw took place on Friday at the Gloworld outlet on Aminu Kano Crescent, Wuse, Abuja. The event was attended by a diverse group of observers, including Glo subscribers, media representatives, and officials from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), led by its representative, Martin Oteh.
Since its launch in October 2024, the Glo Festival of Joy promo has spread joy across several cities, rewarding hundreds of Nigerians with various prizes. As a result, many subscribers were able to end the year 2024 on a high note, with smiles on their faces.
The draw paves the way for the prize presentation ceremony, slated for Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at the Glo office in Wuse, Abuja. As has been the tradition since the promo’s inception, lucky winners will receive exciting prizes, including a brand-new Toyota Prado, while numerous other subscribers will take home tricycles, sewing machines, generators, and grinding machines.
To qualify for the exciting prizes, Globacom encourages new and existing customers to simply dial *611# to join the promotion. Participants must also continue to recharge their lines with voice and data bundles throughout the promo period. New subscribers can easily get started by purchasing a new SIM, registering it, and dialing *611# to opt-in.
To be eligible for the various prizes, customers must meet the following cumulative recharge requirements during the promo period:
N100,000: Qualifies for the Toyota Prado Jeep draw
N50,000: Qualifies for the Kia Picanto draw
N10,000: Qualifies to win a tricycle
N5,000 (total for a month): Qualifies to win a generator
According to Globacom, additional eligibility requirements for other prizes are:
Sewing machine: Total recharge of N2,500 in a month
Grinding machine: Recharge of N1,000 in a week. Meeting these recharge thresholds makes customers eligible for the respective prize draws.
