In a significant political mobilization, the Tinubu 4 Second Term Vanguard Arewa APC Youths have declared an ambitious plan to secure five million votes from Nigeria’s northern region for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
The announcement was made during the vanguard’s inaugural International Day of Poverty Eradication Summit 2025, held symbolically at the former residence of late democracy icon, Chief M.K.O. Abiola, on Toyin Street, Ikeja, Lagos, on Friday, October 17th, 2025.
The event, which blended political strategy with socio-economic advocacy, served as a platform for the northern youth wing of the pro-Tinubu group to outline their comprehensive mobilization strategy.

Leaders of the vanguard articulated their commitment to galvanizing support across the 19 northern states, as well as across all the other states in Nigeria, while emphasizing that President Tinubu’s policies and developmental agenda resonate deeply with the aspirations of the region’s youthful population.
They positioned their massive voter drive as a crucial contribution to ensuring the continuity of the administration’s “Renewed Hope” agenda.

Sokoto indigene and South-West Arewa Woman Leader of the Youth wing all the way from Surulere Local Government, Hajjia Aisha Sanni, while speaking to journalist during the event, harped on the need for all youths in the North to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid.
“I want to advise our people from everywhere in Nigeria, especially all the Northerners in the grassroots to please mobilize their people to go and do their voter’s Card and to make sure that they work for Asiwaju. Though, I trust my people. Anywhere Hausa men are, they love Jagaban. We love Tinubu, and I am sure he will be re-elected, come 2027, Insha Allah.”
Speaking further on the mobilization efforts carried out so far, she said:
“Presently in my own personal group, I have more than three thousand voters which I personally mobilized and our group has recently registered over 4000 newly eligible voters from 18 years and above whose PVCs are for Asiwaju assuredly. Jagaban is coming back in 2027 without any doubt.”
Also, Hamisu Abubakar, The Arewa APC National Youth Leader spoke on the organizations activities and promise to mobilize 20 million Yourh voters for president Asiwaju Bola Hammed Tinubu.
” I just want to assure you that we are have been doing a lot all across the Thirty-Six states of the federation and have a lot of plans to mobilize 20 Million Arewa youths to vote for Jagaban in 2027. We also want to carry everyone along based on the Poverty Eradication in Nigeria.”
Speaking on the International Day for Poverty Eradication plan, Abubakar said:
”As you can see, palliatives will be given out today to alleviate the suffering of some Nigerians and after, it would be an ongoing concern to touch lives of the many more millions who are facing the brunt of economic hardship in Nigeria.”
Holding the summit at the home of the revered M.K.O. Abiola added a layer of profound symbolism, connecting the current democratic struggle with the historic fight for its actualization.
By focusing the event on poverty eradication, the group aimed to link Tinubu’s second-term bid directly to the urgent need for sustainable economic solutions, arguing that his leadership is essential for lifting millions out of poverty.
The declaration signals an intensification of grassroots political activities and underscores the pivotal role the northern youth demographic is expected to play in the upcoming electoral contest.
