From the Streets of Jaji in Kaduna, to the Streets of Okpoko in Anambra, to the Streets of Abule Egba, Ikeja, Alimosho in Iyana Ipaja, Ajah, Fadeyi and Ikorodu in Lagos State Nigeria, Benedict Chijioke Jsoul popularly known as Lagosboi, an indigene of Urualla Ideato North LGA, Orlu in IMO State Nigeria, is the true definition of resilience, talent, strenght and Grace.
He was born and raised in the Nothern part of Nigeria, Kaduna state to be precise, to a Family of Six Guys and Three Ladies. Lagosboi is mostly touted by Friends and Colleagues as a complete Nigerian because of his ability to speak in all three major Nigerian dialects fluently.
He attended Army Children School and Government Secondary School both in Jaji Kaduna State. He further gained an ND in Business Administration in Yaba College of Technology.
He launched his professional music career in 2023 when he recorded and released his self titled debut single “Lagos Boy” which reflects the daily struggles, giggles, happiness, sadness, and all the daily experiences of a Lagos Boy.
Lagos Boy as a name is synonymous to “A Smart, Wise, rugged or brave person”.
His journey to becoming a Lagos Boy didn’t start in 2023. He was already writing songs in 2006. He recorded his first ever studio single in 2009 titled “So Familiar” and it caught the attention of many that year.
Lagosboi has previously released singles, EP and even Albums under different names all through his stages of growth.
He describes his biggest addiction and go to hobby, as listening to free beats online, and tailoring songs to them.

He describes the entire long years of writing, recording and releasing songs as a process which was very vital to getting to the stage he finds himself in right now.
At some point in his career, due to the numerous trial and errors, he attempted the world of Comedy, and also Instagram Interviews with the hope of introducing his music to them much later, but that was not to be.
His favorite hobbies and activities has to be “Listening to Music, making music, playing computer Games, and Traveling.
Lagosboi hopes to become an Afrobeat legend someday, and is determined to keep working vehemently in other to achieve that goal.
