National Assembly Releases Four Tax Reform Acts Signed By President Tinubu For Public Record

Published:

The National Assembly has officially released the Certified True Copies (CTCs) of four tax reform Acts recently signed into law by President Bola Tinubu, following directives from Senate President Godswill Akpabio and House of Representatives Speaker Abbas Tajudeen.

The move aims to address public concerns and dispel allegations regarding the circulation of unauthorized and misleading versions of the new laws.

In a statement issued by House Spokesman Akin Rotimi, the Assembly confirmed the authenticity of the following Acts, which are now available for public record, verification, and reference:

1. The Nigeria Tax Act, 2025

2. The Nigeria Tax Administration Act, 2025

3. The National Revenue Service (Establishment) Act, 2025

4. The Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Act, 2025

Rotimi emphasized that the released documents include the endorsement and assent pages signed by President Tinubu, underscoring their legitimacy.

He cautioned that only the versions certified and released by the National Assembly should be considered authoritative, urging the public and relevant institutions to rely solely on these official copies.

The statement reaffirmed the parliament’s commitment to defending the integrity of its legislative work and maintaining transparency in the implementation of Nigeria’s new tax reform framework.
