The Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu has been announced to grace the Nurses Conference on Tuesday 12th September, 2023, with lot of goodies to transform the lives of the Nursing section.
This was made Known on Sunday, during the Thanksgiving service held at Alausa Chapel of Christ The Light to commemorate the 2023 Nurses Week and Scientific Conference, themed, “Our Nurses, Our Future” which actually began with series of Prayers.
Speaking with Cfame News correspondent, the State Chairman of the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives, Comrade Olurotimi Julius Awojide said, the Tuesday programme is basically an opening ceremony and shall be held at Adeyemi Bero Auditorium, Alausa Secretariat ikeja, also to feature the Royal Father of the Day, the Onibeju of Ibeju Land, the first Lady of Lagos State, Dr. Mrs Claudiana Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu and the Keynote Speaker, from the Country of Rwanda, and will be welcomed by the Nigerian National President of the Nurses Association, Comrade Micheal Nnachi.
He mentioned in his address, that the Week activities kick-start on Friday with special Jummat at Alausa Central Mosque to handing up the programme unto the Lord Almighty.
Also, by the early morning of Monday 11th of September, 2023, there will be an Health Walk for fitness, between the Allen Round about to Alausa Secretariat ikeja, as part of the activities to commemorate the 2023 Nurses Week celebration. He mentioned.
He enunciated that he believed that the Lagos State Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu will take a very good care of Nurses when he arrives the Nurses conference, and there will be no need for the Nurses to flee or Japa from the country.
The Presiding Chaplain of the Chapel of Christ The Light, Alausa Secretariat, Ven. Ezekiel Oluwadare exhorted the congregation with the word of encouragement, from the Book of 1 Samuel 30:1-19, in order to put their trust in the Lord, no matter the situation they pass through in life, and any given leadership positions, and be so generous to others with the little of your substance and resources.
