The Governing Council of Pan-Atlantic University has announced the appointment of Dr. Peter Bamkole as the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) of the university, effective June 19, 2024.
Dr. Bamkole, a seasoned administrator and entrepreneur, previously served as the Chief Operating Officer of the university and pioneer Director of the Enterprise Development Centre (EDC) from 2003 to 2022.
He brings a wealth of experience spanning 39 years in both the public and private sectors, including oil and gas, water supply, and education.
A mechanical engineer with an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona, and a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from the International School of Management (ISM), Paris, Dr. Bamkole is also a respected consultant and author of the book “Built by Enterprise.”
He serves on several boards, including Zenith Bank, Nigeria Plc, Nigeria Climate Innovation Centre, and Lagos State Research and Innovation Council, among others.
