In a Facebook post by Akagwu Gbelema Halimat Umar on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, a young girl identified as Ummu Salma has allegedly been beaten to death by her school mates in Kogi State.
Expressing her shock and anguish over the unfortunate incident, the deceased’s stepmother, Akagwu Gbelema Halimat also posted:
“Inna lillahi wa Inna ilayhi raji’un. I just lost my stepdaughter who was beaten to death by her school mates.”
The victim has been buried according to Islamic injunction while friends and family are awaiting justice for the unfortunate victim of such a barbaric act.
