Ahead of his team’s preparation for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, Jose Peseiro has landed in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates at night, on Tuesday, 2nd January, in company of his assistants.
Also, a delegation of players and officials of the team including Team Captain Ahmed Musa, Kenneth Omeruo and Olorunleke Ojo, flew out of Abuja on Tuesday afternoon, while others took off from Lagos.
The three-time African champions will spend a week in Abu Dhabi and are expected to begin preparations for the competition at their training base on Wednesday, before traveling to Abidjan for the 2023 AFCON finals, on Wednesday, 10th January, 2024.
