Zenith Bank Plc has once again heralded the Yuletide season with its iconic Light-Up ceremony of Ajose Adeogun Street and Roundabout, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event, held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, was officiated by the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive of Zenith Bank Plc, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji.
This much-anticipated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, now in its 18th year, has become a hallmark of Lagos’ festive celebrations.
The Light-Up transforms the street housing Zenith Bank’s Corporate Headquarters into a dazzling Christmas wonderland, attracting families, tourists, and social media enthusiasts from across the globe. The beautifully adorned street and roundabout have become a seasonal landmark and a source of pride for the Lagos community.
Speaking at the ceremony, Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji remarked, “Over the years, Zenith Bank has hosted this spectacular event, transforming the entire Ajose Adeogun Street into a breathtaking yuletide wonderland. Our beautiful and elaborate Christmas decorations have become a centre of attraction and shared on social media platforms globally.
As we light up the street tonight, we celebrate the essence of Christmas and Zenith Bank’s unparalleled CSR. Our customers will always be at the centre of all that we do in Zenith Bank.”
She encouraged attendees to embrace the Christmas spirit, highlighting its themes of love, kindness, generosity, and respect for humanity. She also expressed gratitude to the Lagos State Government for fostering a conducive environment for such initiatives and extended special recognition to Quantum Markets for their creativity and dedication to the decorations.
