SolarPro Nigeria Limited has unveiled a commercial and industrial solar system and a Xiaomi-associated electric vehicle at Nigeria Energy 2026 in Lagos, as the company showcases new energy and mobility solutions at the three-day exhibition.

Sales Manager Azeez Rasheed Adisa says the company’s latest offerings include a 125kW solar inverter and a 261kWh lithium battery system, alongside an electric car presented as one of its new products for the 2026 edition.

LAGOS, Nigeria — SolarPro Nigeria Limited has introduced a commercial and industrial (C&I) solar power system and an electric vehicle identified in an interview as a Xiaomi car at Nigeria Energy 2026, highlighting the company’s expanding product range across renewable energy, power storage and electric mobility.

Speaking to DASCENARIO at the exhibition, which opened on Tuesday, October 27, at Landmark Centre in Lagos, SolarPro Nigeria Limited’s Sales Manager, Azeez Rasheed Adisa, identified the C&I solar system and the electric vehicle as the company’s two major product additions for this year’s event.

Adisa said the company had returned to the exhibition after participating in the 2025 edition, bringing new products while retaining some of the solutions displayed previously.

“We have the new items we have introduced for this year. We have the C&I system, the big solar system,” Adisa said during the interview.

He explained that the system combines an inverter with a lithium battery designed for commercial and industrial applications.

SolarPro Nigeria at Nigeria Energy 2026: New C&I solar system targets businesses

A key highlight of SolarPro Nigeria at Nigeria Energy 2026 is its commercial and industrial solar power solution, which Adisa described as a system featuring a 125-kilowatt inverter and a 261-kilowatt-hour lithium battery.

The combination is intended for larger energy requirements than those typically associated with small residential installations, placing the offering within the commercial and industrial power segment.

Businesses that experience unreliable grid supply often consider solar generation and battery storage as options for supporting operations, managing backup requirements and improving energy planning. The suitability of any system, however, depends on the customer’s actual load profile, operating hours, installation requirements and budget.

SolarPro’s display puts these considerations in focus by presenting an integrated power solution built around an inverter and lithium battery storage.

The specifications were provided by the company’s sales manager during the interview. Prospective buyers would need to confirm the complete system configuration, including solar-panel capacity, battery discharge capability, expected backup duration, warranty and installation requirements, before making a purchase decision.

Xiaomi-associated electric vehicle adds a mobility dimension

Beyond solar power equipment, SolarPro has brought an electric vehicle described during the interview as a Xiaomi car to the 2026 exhibition.

Adisa identified the vehicle, which he referred to as the “ZOWIE electric car”, as the second major new product introduced by the company at this year’s event.

The vehicle adds an electric-mobility element to SolarPro’s exhibition offering, broadening the conversation beyond electricity generation and storage to include the growing interest in electrified transport.

Xiaomi has an established electric-vehicle business, with models including the SU7 and YU7 featured on its official automotive platforms.

The vehicle’s appearance at Nigeria Energy was just a test run of its market feasibility and the price has been put at around $80,000 when it finally launches. The charging infrastructure, after-sales support, spare parts, warranty coverage and the compatibility of charging equipment with local installations was also certified.

As electric mobility develops, the relationship between vehicles, charging systems, renewable electricity and battery storage is becoming increasingly relevant to the wider energy market.

The SolarPro showcase is taking place at Nigeria Energy 2026, the 13th edition of the exhibition and conference organised by Informa Markets.

According to the event’s official website, the exhibition runs from October 27 to 29 at Landmark Centre, Lagos, bringing together companies and professionals across the West African energy sector. Its programme covers areas including renewable and clean energy, transmission and distribution, critical and backup power, energy consumption and management, and battery energy storage.

The event provides a platform for suppliers to demonstrate technologies, engage prospective customers and explore commercial partnerships.

SolarPro’s C&I solar system aligns with the exhibition’s focus on power solutions and energy storage, while the electric vehicle adds a related discussion around mobility and charging needs.

For businesses evaluating alternative power options, exhibitions such as Nigeria Energy offer an opportunity to compare equipment, ask technical questions and engage suppliers directly.

Returning exhibitor brings new products after 2025 participation

Adisa confirmed that SolarPro also participated in the 2025 edition of Nigeria Energy and has returned this year with additional products.

“The other ones we brought last year are still here as well,” he said, explaining that the company’s two principal new additions for 2026 are the C&I system and the electric vehicle.

The return gives the company an opportunity to present its wider product portfolio to visitors while drawing attention to the new offerings.

SolarPro’s presence at Nigeria Energy 2026 also reflects the importance of direct engagement with potential buyers in a market where customers may need guidance on selecting systems suited to household, commercial or industrial energy requirements.

SolarPro says it has more than five branches in Nigeria

Asked about the company’s geographical reach, Adisa said SolarPro operates more than five branches across different states in Nigeria.

He also identified Morocco and Zambia among the countries where the company has a presence, adding that it operates in other African markets.

Adisa said the company had been in existence for more than 12 years, although he qualified the statement during the interview by saying he was not entirely certain of the exact duration.

The company’s reported branch network and international presence could be relevant to customers seeking information on product availability and access to sales support. Specific branch locations, service coverage and the scope of its operations in other countries were not detailed in the interview.

Social media and exhibitions drive product awareness

Adisa said SolarPro relies mainly on social media advertising and participation in industry exhibitions to introduce its products to prospective customers.

“We have the social media platform where we advertise our products to customers,” he said. “Also, we are using this medium of coming to the Energy Summit here to advertise our sales to our customers.”

The approach combines digital communication with face-to-face product engagement, allowing the company to reach online audiences while giving visitors an opportunity to see selected equipment in person.

For energy products that require technical assessment before purchase, direct interaction can help prospective buyers ask questions about capacity, installation, maintenance and the suitability of a solution for their needs.

SolarPro’s participation in the current exhibition therefore serves both as a product showcase and as a channel for engaging businesses and individuals exploring solar power and electric mobility.

SolarPro Nigeria at Nigeria Energy 2026: What buyers should ask

With the C&I solar system and electric vehicle among the company’s highlighted products, prospective customers can use the exhibition to seek clarification on several practical issues.

For the solar system, these include the exact inverter rating and battery capacity, whether solar panels are included, the system’s expected output, installation requirements, warranty terms and after-sales support.

For the electric vehicle, buyers should confirm its official model name, technical specifications, price, availability, charging requirements, warranty arrangements and access to maintenance and spare parts in Nigeria.

These details are important because product suitability depends on individual requirements, and specifications alone do not establish how a system will perform under particular operating conditions.

A broader conversation about energy and mobility

SolarPro’s participation at Nigeria Energy 2026 brings together two areas of growing interest in the energy market: commercial and industrial solar storage, and electric transport.

The company’s new C&I system addresses the need for solutions designed around larger power requirements, while the displayed electric vehicle introduces another dimension to discussions about how energy technologies may intersect with mobility.

As the exhibition continues through October 29, SolarPro’s showcase offers visitors an opportunity to learn more about the company’s products and seek further details directly from its representatives.

For SolarPro Nigeria at Nigeria Energy 2026, the emphasis is on using the exhibition to present new offerings, maintain visibility among energy-sector stakeholders and engage potential customers across Nigeria and other African markets.
