In a remarkable demonstration of his administration’s commitment to uplifting the trading community, the Executive Chairman of Igbogbo/Baiyeku Local Council Development Area, Omo’ba Hammed Olalekan Aroyewun, has fulfilled a solemn campaign promise by presenting a brand new commercial bus to the Association of Commodity Women and Men of Nigeria, Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA Chapter.

The presentation of the bus, which took place amidst celebratory scenes at the 10th Coronation Anniversary of the Adeboruwa of Igbogbo Kingdom, represents far more than a vehicle, it symbolises the administration’s unwavering dedication to the economic prosperity of our market traders who form the backbone of our local economy.

Recalling his interactions with the trading community during the campaign period, Chairman Aroyewun had assured the market women and men that their requests would not fall on deaf ears. Despite the demanding nature of governance, he remained resolute in his commitment to this pledge. Yesterday 23rd July 2026, that promise has become a gleaming reality.

The commodity traders, the vibrant men and women who drive commerce within our LCDA, have long been essential to our collective progress. This bus will serve as a critical asset, facilitating their business operations, improving their mobility, and enhancing their capacity to serve our communities effectively.

“This administration believes that prosperity is not measured by government alone, but by the visible improvement in the lives of our people,” Chairman Aroyewun noted, underscoring the philosophy that guides his GLORY Agenda.

This presentation is not an endpoint but a milestone. The administration remains committed to identifying and addressing the needs of all sectors within the LCDA, ensuring that every segment of our society, from traders to youth, from students to artisans experiences the dividends of good governance.

To the Association of Commodity Women and Men, we say: this is our investment in your success and, by extension, the success of Igbogbo/Baiyeku LCDA.
