The 2024 Industry Women Conference (tinW) is set to spotlight the transformative power of unity, resilience, and innovation among Nigerian women across various sectors. Organised by The Industry Newspaper, this year’s event, themed “Tools Nigerian Women Need to Compete and Succeed,” is scheduled to take place in Lagos at the CIBN House, Adeola Hopewell Street, Victoria Island, on Friday, December 13, 2024.
Highlighting the significance of the conference, the organisers have announced a distinguished lineup of speakers, including Mabel Adeteye, Group Head of Brands & Marketing Communications at Wema Bank Plc, and Abiodun Olubitan, Group Head of Women Bank/W Initiatives at Access Bank. The event will also be chaired by Alero Ladipo, Group Head of Marketing & Corporate Communications at UBA Group, with Dr. Felix King Eiremiokhae, President of the Felix King Foundation, serving as co-chairman.

Speaking at the unveiling media conference in Lagos, Goddie Ofose, Convener of the Industry Women Conference, emphasized the critical role of equipping women with tools and strategies to thrive in today’s challenging economic landscape.

A key highlight of the event will be the PINK Session, during which The Industry Newspaper will honour the Top 50 Industry Women in Nigeria—trailblazers who have demonstrated resilience, tenacity, and ingenuity throughout 2024. These women represent diverse fields, including technology, marketing, advertising, public relations, healthcare, governance, and entrepreneurship.
The event will also celebrate Industry Iconic Amazons—women who have made exceptional contributions to their respective sectors. Honorees include Chief Kehinde Kamson, Founder/CEO of Sweet Sensation Confectionary; Dr. Shade Okoya, CEO of Eleganza Industries Limited; Bola Atta, CEO of UBA Foundation; Tomi Somefun, MD/CEO of Unity Bank; Dame Adaora Umeoji, MD/CEO of Zenith Bank Plc; and Alero Ladipo, Group Head of Marketing & Communications at UBA Group.
