The Honourable Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, on behalf of the entire Ministry, joyfully celebrates His Excellency, Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
In a warm congratulatory message, the Commissioner praised Governor Sanwo-Olu’s visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, which has transformed Lagos into a cleaner, greener, and more resilient megacity.
“Your exemplary dedication to environmental protection through the #CleanerLagos initiative and urban renewal projects has set new standards in governance. Under your guidance, we have achieved remarkable milestones in waste management, flood control, and the creation of sustainable green spaces for all Lagosians,” the Commissioner stated.
The Commissioner further commended the Governor’s passion for building climate-adaptive infrastructure and fostering partnerships that advance Lagos’ environmental goals, aligning with the THEMES+ development agenda.
As the State helmsman marks this new age, the Ministry prayed for continued divine wisdom, good health, and renewed strength for Governor Sanwo-Olu to keep steering Lagos towards greater heights of sustainable development and prosperity.
