The APC Amazons, a leading women-focused support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced plans to host a Party Appreciation Day in recognition of the remarkable achievements of the party’s female candidates in Lagos State during the 2026 electoral cycle.
The event will particularly celebrate the Incoming Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Princess Damilola Sonayon James, alongside other distinguished women who secured elective positions under the platform of the APC.
According to details contained on the official event flyer, the appreciation programme is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at Aquila Hall, Ikorodu, Lagos, beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Organisers say the event is designed to appreciate the unwavering commitment, resilience and leadership demonstrated by women within the APC while reaffirming the party’s commitment to inclusive governance and women’s participation in politics.
