An Internet user in Ayere town; midway between Akunnu and Kabbah, has sounded out a warning to all Nigerians, most especially traders, urging them to be careful when buying goods from sources they can’t verify or people that they don’t know much about.
In his strong appeal, Reverend Canon Oshashona warned Nigerians to be careful of fraudsters who will go to any lengths to defraud unsuspecting Nigerians.
According to him, a Venerable’s wife who runs a provisions store within the town market square bought two sealed oil kegs only for her to discover long after the seller had long gone.
In a video shared online by the Reverend, a multitude could be seen gathering round the kegs of Oil in front of the victim’s shop while the Reverend kept on warning the multitude of onlookers.
