Lagos, Nigeria — The Centre for Media Connect (CMC) has reaffirmed its loyalty, trust, and deep appreciation to the Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Margaret Ochalla, FCID, as she departs Nigeria for a Police Short Course in the United States of America, after which she will return to continue her national service.
In a statement released by Amb. Cornell Udofia, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of CMC Gladiators and CMC Entertainment Group, and Public Relations Officer of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Lagos Chapter, AIG Ochalla was commended for her exemplary leadership, professionalism, and steadfast commitment to justice and public service.
During her tenure at the FCID Annex, Lagos, AIG Ochalla was widely acknowledged for upholding integrity, discipline, and inclusive leadership. Her administration also strengthened collaboration between the Nigeria Police Force, the media, and stakeholders in the creative industry.
“As Matron of the Centre for Media Connect, AIG Margaret Ochalla provided invaluable guidance and moral support to our organisation. Her passion for responsible media practice and constructive engagement will remain a lasting legacy,” the statement read.
The statement further disclosed that Amb. Cornell Udofia, President of CMC Gladiators & Publisher of The Gladiators Magazine, paid a courtesy visit to AIG Margaret Ochalla to formally bid her farewell and to honour her participation in the Police Short Course in the United States.
CMC expressed strong confidence that the international exposure and advanced training AIG Ochalla will acquire will further enhance her professional capacity and positively impact policing and national security efforts upon her return to Nigeria.
The Centre reaffirmed its continued goodwill and support, wishing AIG Margaret Ochalla a successful programme, safe travels, and greater accomplishments in her ongoing service to the nation.
